National Weather Service The division of NOAA responsible for weather data gathering, analysis, and forecasting. In particular for marine weather we have: 1. OPC, Ocean Prediction Center for maps and text for Pacific and Atlantic 2. NHC, National Hurricane Center for all tropical maps and storms 3.
