Pacific Cup Race

West Marine Pacific Cup. Yacht race held on even years, San Francisco to Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii, a distance of 2071 miles. Ninth biannual race is in 1996. Minimum boat length is 24 feet. Billed as the "Fun race to Hawaii." Starts first week of July, at the same time as the Victoria to Maui Race. The Transpac Race in on odd years.

Course record is 8d 7h 14m set in 1994 by the yacht "Rage," a custom Wylie 70 from Portland, OR.
