crossing-targets Targets moving on the radar screen in a direction that is diagonal to the orientation of the heading line as opposed to parallel targets. A crossing target moving down-screen is called a bow target. Moving up-screen, they are called quarter targets. A crossing target moving perpendicular to the heading line is called a beam target or limbo target.
