Metacentric Radius

Metacentric Radius is the distance from the Metacentre (M) to the Centre of Buoyancy (B). If a circle with a radius B-M is inscribed with the centre at M, the circumference of the circle will pass through B, B1, B2 and any subsequent position of the C of B up to angles between 10° and 12°.
