NIMA National Imaging and Mapping Agency. It is the government agency that replaced the Defense Mapping Agency (DMA), later known as DMAHTC. For mariners a main interest in this agency is their production of numerous navigation publications, both in print and as pdf files, such as Bowditch, Sight Reduction Tables, Radar Navigation Manual, etc. (All of their publications are available on a convenient CD from Starpath called "Bowditch Plus!)
