WXT / WXTL Our nickname for the Starpath Weather Trainer software program, and its latest rendition Starpath Weather Trainer Live. This program is now cloud based so it is kept up to date on a regular basis. See the Updates and News notice on the Library page for latest updates. WXTL is accessible from within the Starpath Online Marine Weather Course and it is also available as stand alone weather resource and training tool Several places in the glossary we cross reference entries to their counterpart discussions within the program, such as see WXTL G249, which refers to a specific graphic page in the program. WX is a common abbreviation for weather used in several applications.
