daymark An unlighted shape on top of a beacon. Could be a square, diamond, or triangle, or circle. They information in their shapes, colors, and color patterns. May or may not include letters or numbers. They are typically 2 or 3 feet across. The Light List is the general reference to the categories, colors, and patterns. Or cursor pick one on an ENC to see its shape and color. Options are listed in the Caris S-57 Object Catalog online.
