hydrometeor Any product of the condensation or sublimation of atmospheric water vapor, whether formed in the free atmosphere or at the earth's surface (cloud, fog, mist, dew, rain, drizzle, snow, etc); also any water particles blown by the wind from the earth's surface. See also lithometeor.
