Commercial fishing is the backbone of the Pacific Northwest marine industry, as it also is to many other parts of the seafaring world. Our onboard navigation courses on this vessel are a unique way to also learn of the history and operations of the fishing industry, so crucial to maritime affairs. The Aimee O and her skipper and crew (Chad and Aimee's four daughters) have been very successful with their fishing. In 2002 they caught over 600 tons of salmon!

The Aimee O carries the latest navigational and safety equipment. She has passed the U.S. Coast Guard inspection for fishing vessel safety. Power is provided by a Cummins N14 and two generators. Fuel capacity is 8,000 gallons with an adequate supply of 1400 gallons of water. She will give you a smooth, dependable ride. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable vessel from which you can explore the beauty of Southeast Alaska.
